Arise and Thrive Africa is a Survivor Led Non-Profit Organization which is based in Nairobi Kenya. The organization was founded in 2024 with the aim to support the individuals who are survivors of Human Trafficking, Modern-Day Slavery, Forced Labour, Child Labour and Survivors of Gender based violence.
We support in gaining the skills needed to ensure that they are independent and empowered, ready to face lives challenges head on, as they integrate back into society. The organization provides counseling services in a safe space where we are able to assist with their Mental Well-being after their traumatic experience(s).
The founder, also a survivor of human trafficking and forced labour is hands-on in supporting the agency of women by creating public awareness through speaking engagements, research and podcasting.
We are commitment to partnering with human trafficking survivors to develop government policy and programs, create awareness and prevent future trafficking of persons in our locality. We help to take legislative or other measures to prevent, combat and eradicate trafficking of persons.
We aim at Increasing public awareness of the existence of human trafficking within communities.The founder, also a survivor of human trafficking and forced labour is hands-on in supporting the agency of women by creating public awareness through speaking engagements, research and podcasting. She use skills to create empowerment and financial dependency through the art and crafts work where they sell merchandise to individuals and conferences in order to support these cause.
We provides counseling services in a safe space where we are able to assist with their Mental Well-being after their traumatic experience(s). Trafficked victims are
confronted with severe social and emotional problems. We provide professional one-to-one counseling for survivors here in Kenya. Counseling is tailored to the needs of each victim to help process the psychological impact of exploitation.

The International Service for Human Rights is organizing 8 days of training and 2 days activity to equip human rights defenders with the knowledge and skills to integrate the African Commission on Human and Peoples’ Rights (the ACHPR) into their existing work at the national level in a strategic manner, and provide an opportunity for participants to prepare for and engage in advocacy activities at the ACHPR with the aim to effect change back home at the national level
